Sarovar Education Society, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is a registered charitable trust dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth through free coaching for competitive exams. Since its inception around 2003, it has transformed thousands of lives by providing accessible education that bridges the gap between potential and opportunity.

## Our Mission
We ignite the light of awareness through education, viewing it as the golden key that unlocks a world of possibilities for underprivileged, educated yet unemployed youth, particularly from Muslim communities in developing regions like India. Our core commitment is to offer completely free coaching for government and semi-government recruitment exams, enabling meritorious students from all economic backgrounds—haves and have-nots—to compete effectively and secure stable careers.

This mission addresses the harsh reality where millions of qualified youth remain poor and directionless due to lack of guidance, fostering self-reliance and contributing to a stronger nation by placing responsible individuals in key public and private sector roles.

## Our History
Established in 2003 by a group of dedicated professionals from various organizations, Sarovar began as a humble initiative responding to ads for exams like LIC Assistant, Gujarat Public Services, banking, and state government recruitments, in partnership with local NGOs. Operating daily from TNSC Hall at Peer Shahjimiyan Chisty Marg, Saiyedvad, Raikhad, Ahmedabad-380001, we have sustained operations for over two decades, bearing all costs for books, administration, and logistics through society funds.

From initial small batches, we expanded amid growing vacancies in government and non-government sectors, countering societal discouragement where parents withdrew children from studies due to unemployment fears; today, our success stories inspire continued education and societal upliftment.

## Key Activities
•⁠ ⁠Free daily coaching classes for competitive exams including GPSC, banking, SSC, railways, and other public/private sector recruitments, customized for skill-building and job readiness.[1][2]
•⁠ ⁠Vocational guidance seminars and PowerPoint presentations delivered at over 300 locations across Gujarat, benefiting more than 20,000 students from Std. 10 and 12 in schools, trusts, and communities to choose the right career paths.
•⁠ ⁠Human resource development programs extending beyond exams to private sector opportunities, personality development, and nation-building initiatives managed voluntarily by our expert team.

These efforts emphasize not just job placement but holistic growth, helping youth contribute to a progressive society.

## Success Stories
Over 20,000 candidates have benefited from our programs, with more than 2,000 securing government jobs from Class 1 to Class 4 positions through cleared competitive exams. Our alumni now hold respectable roles, validating our impact and encouraging parental investment in education amid economic challenges.

Led by figures like Professor Hidayat Saiyed, who draws from personal experience of financial barriers to coaching, Sarovar now operates across 13 centers in Gujarat, proving free, quality guidance can level the playing field.
